Mayors of LA, London Work Together On

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, during his visit to Southern California stopped at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator along with L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, and spoke of how the two cities have been working together to tackle pollution and climate change by focusing on zero-emission vehicles.

The visit came as London exceeds a significant electric vehicle milestone with more than 10,000 charging points now available for public use in the city, five times more than under the previous Mayor, and accounting for a third of all-electric vehicle charging points across the whole of the United Kingdom, according to a press statement.

Khan at LACI was shown a number of zero-emission vehicles that showcased the innovative work happening in Los Angeles.

Khan also visited New York, San Francisco to drive investment and launch his new £10m international tourism campaign.
