Ajay Devgn Says Daughter Nysa Not Interested In Bollywood Debut

MUMBAI (ANI)– While many star kids are making their Bollywood debuts, Nysa Devgan, daughter of power couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol, currently has other plans.

Ajay Devgn was asked if he considered casting in a film. Ajay simply stated, “At the moment, she’s not interested in this kind of work.”

Speaking about their upcoming film ‘Maa’ Kajol spoke about how the film’s theme of motherhood resonated deeply with her.

“I spoke about this during Salaam Venky as well…It’s any parent’s worst nightmare to lose their child,” Kajol shared. “I normally tend not to let my feelings affect my shot, but somewhere down the line, subconsciously, emotions come easier. Tears fall more easily, because you feel so connected to it, and it’s so real.”

Kajol’s Maa is set to release in theaters on June 27. The film also stars Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, and Kherin Sharma, and is directed by Vishal Furia, known for his previous work on Chhorii.
