Mehdi Hasan Show Canceled By MSNBC
India-West News Desk
NEW YORK, NY – ‘The Mehdi Hasan Show,’ the weekend news program hosted by Mehdi Hasan, on MSNBC and its streaming service NBC’s Peacock, has been canceled.
Instead, Hasan will transition to the role of an on-camera analyst and occasional guest host, reports said. The Peacock streaming service will replace The Mehdi Hasan Show with an additional hour of ‘Ayman,’ the news program hosted by Ayman Mohyeldin.
Renowned for his assertive interviewing style, Hasan often engaged guests correcting them in real-time. Recently, Hasan interviewed Vivek Ramaswamy, the GOP presidential aspirant, asking him about his anti-affirmative action position despite getting and benefiting from a scholarship for immigrants and their children.
More recently, Hasan had become a vocal critic of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.
Hasan was born in Swindon, Britain, to immigrant parents from Hyderabad.
