Not Even SRK Has Seen All His Biggest Hits

MUMBAI- Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan once revealed that he has not watched several of his own films, including some of his most celebrated works.

During an appearance on filmmaker Sajid Khan’s television show ‘Yaaron Ki Baraat’, actor Riteish Deshmukh asked Shah Rukh if there was any film of his that had been released but that he had never watched.

Responding to the question, Shah Rukh said there were many such films, including ‘Deewana’, ‘Swades’ and ‘Pardes’.

“It is done now. People liked it. I have watched it in parts while dubbing, or during the edit, but I have never watched these movies of mine, neither in the hall nor in my house,” he said.

Explaining why he avoids watching his own films, Shah Rukh said, “I know what the process behind making these films was, and that people have enjoyed it and also praised it. I feel it is a daredevilry to watch your own movie.”

Shah Rukh is next set to return to the big screen with director Siddharth Anand’s ‘King’, which will also mark his first major on-screen collaboration with daughter Suhana Khan. (IANS)
