‘Operation Clog the Toilet’ Targets Indian H1B Workers
India-West News Desk
WASHINGTON, DC – Far-right online groups had launched a campaign called “Operation Clog the Toilet,” attempting to block Indians from returning to the U.S. after President Donald Trump announced a $100,000 fee for H-1B visas.
Trolls had targeted popular India-US flights, deliberately holding seats without paying to temporarily block bookings and drive up ticket prices.
The scheme, coordinated on forums like 4chan and Telegram, focused on busy routes to cities such as Newark, and Dallas. . 4chan, the anonymous message board behind much of the coordination, has a long history of trolling campaigns and extremist content.
Posts included racist slurs and instructions to make travel difficult for Indian tech workers, with some boasting about reserving over 100 seats to “wreck Jeets,” a derogatory term for South Asians.
The stated goal was to “keep Indians in India” and create panic among travelers rushing to avoid the new visa fee.
Despite the online disruption attempts, Air India confirmed to AFP that its website operated normally

$100K fee for H – B VISA is very little, it should be $230K.
