Pathak Reappointed To Santa Clara County Disability Services Board

SUNNYVALE, CA- Narendra Pathak of Sunnyvale has been reappointed to the Santa Clara County Public Authority for In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Board, following a unanimous vote by the Board of Supervisors.
Pathak was sworn in on August 25 for another term on the 11-member advisory board, which advises the county on programs and policies affecting people who receive In-Home Supportive Services and others who need in-home assistance to live independently.
The board also makes recommendations to the Public Authority’s governing body and executive director on issues involving caregivers, community development and services for people with disabilities.
A native of Gujarat, Pathak holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and degrees in labor and criminal law. He has completed the Santa Clara County Government 101 Academy. Pathak is physically disabled following a stroke.
In Sunnyvale, he has served on the Library Commission, Housing and Human Services Commission, General Plan Consolidation Advisory Board and Below Market Rate Housing Program Advisory Board.
