President Biden Sends US teams to support Turkish rescue Efforts

Washington, (IANS)  Speaking to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, US President Joe Biden said that the US is prepared to offer “any and all” aid that Turkey may require in the wake of devastating earthquakes.

As per the statement from the White House, Biden “noted that US teams are deploying immediately to support Turkish search and rescue operations. Also coordinate additional assistance that may be needed by people affected by the earthquakes, like health services or basic relief items.”

President Biden also expressed the American people’s condolences to those who were injured or lost loved ones in the earthquakes.
