Sawan Singh Turns 100!

ORANGE, CA – Sardar Sawan Singh, retired school principal and a long-time resident here, turned 100 on December 23.

A self-made and self-educated person, he is known in the community for his knowledge evidenced by the fact that he has written and published 11 books after retirement.

Despite his blindness due to glaucoma, he remains very active and ambulatory, his large family which resides around Southern California said.

Gogia celebrated his birthday with family and friends at the Sikh Center of Orange County in Santa Ana.
