Shivangi Joshi On Love, Dating, And Industry Relationships

MUMBAI Television actor Shivangi Joshi has shared her thoughts on love and dating in today’s times, saying that a person’s profession has little to do with meaningful relationships.

Speaking on the podcast ‘Honestly, Why Not’ by Balaji Telefilms, Shivangi was asked about dating men from the entertainment industry. Responding with clarity, the actress said she does not believe love should be defined by the industry one works in.

According to her, what truly matters in a relationship is the person and the values they bring. She said respect, understanding and love are far more important than professional background, adding that the profession itself does not matter to her.

“According to me, what truly matters is the person, the respect, understanding, love and values they bring into a relationship. The profession really doesn’t matter,” Shivangi said.

Shivangi was earlier rumoured to be in a relationship with her ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ co star Mohsin Khan. The two shared strong on screen chemistry on the long running television show, where Shivangi played Naira, the daughter of Akshara portrayed by Hina Khan, while Mohsin essayed the role of Kartik. Their pairing became one of the most popular jodis on Indian television around 2017.

Apart from ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, Shivangi has featured in projects such as ‘Balika Vadhu 2’ and ‘Bekaboo’. She also participated in the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 12’.

More recently, the actress made headlines for her rumored relationship with actor Kushal Tandon, her co star in the romantic drama ‘Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka’. The speculation intensified after Kushal shared and later deleted a social media post announcing their breakup. (IANS)
