Sorghum Samosa
Ingredients:
- Sorghum flour – 1 cup
- Maida – 1 cup
- Potatoes – 1 cup, boiled and mashed
- Boiled peas – as required
- Onions – as required
- Green chilies – as required
- Curry leaves – as required
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – for deep frying
Method:
- Take one cup of sorghum flour and one cup of maida. Mix well and add the required amount of water to make a dough.
- Make small balls of the dough. Roll each ball into a chapati using a rolling pin and cut it into halves.
- Mash the boiled potatoes and add chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves.
- Prepare the filling by seasoning chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Add the boiled mashed potatoes, boiled peas, and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Fill each half with the prepared mixture, fold into a triangular shape, and deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
