SRK’s ‘Jawan’ Becomes Biggest Bollywood Opener Ever
MUMBAI (ANI) – Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s newly released action thriller film ‘Jawan’ minted Rs 65.50 crores at the Indian box office. With this, the film has become the biggest Hindi opener film of all time and Jawan’ entered the Rs 100 crore worldwide club on the opening day itself.
Earlier, SRK’s comeback film ‘Pathan’ had minted Rs 55 Crores on its opening day and now ‘Jawan’ has surpassed its first-day collection. Helmed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Actor Deepika Padukone is in a guest appearance role.
The film has received positive response at the box office as well as critics. Accolades also poured in from the film fraternity.
Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli posted, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office. What an earth-shattering opening.” Superstar Mahesh Babu wrote, “#Jawan… Blockbuster cinema… @Atlee_dir delivers king size entertainment with the King himself!! Comes up with his career’s best film… The aura, charisma and screen presence of @iamsrk are unmatched… He’s on fire here !! Jawan will break his own records… how cool is that!! Stuff of the legends.”
Kangana Ranaut usually critical of everyone in Bollywood wrote, “From being the ultimate lover boy of the nineties to a decade-long struggle again to reinvent his connection with his audience to his late forties to mid-fifties and ultimately rising as the quintessential Indian mass superhero at the age of 60 (almost) Is nothing short of superheroic even in real life.” According to Kangana Ranaut, Shah Rukh Khan’s adversity serves as a masterclass for other performers in the field. She added, “I remember the time when people wrote him off and mocked his choices but his struggle is a master class for all artists enjoying long careers but must reinvent and reestablish. SRK is the cinema God that India needs not just for his hugs or dimples but for some serious world saving as well. Bowing down to your perseverance, hard work and humility King Khan. @iamsrk.”
SRK visited a number of locations for ‘Jawan’ promotional events. In Chennai, he attended a significant pre-release function. The ‘Jawan’ trailer was on display at Burj Khalifa during his visit to Dubai. He also offered prayers at the revered shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu. Recently, he sought blessings at the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati.
Fans celebrated the release like a festival with dhols, cake cutting, burning crackers and others.
Shah Rukh took notice of the tweet and replied, “Love you boys and girls I hope you enjoy the entertainment. Kept awake to see you go to the theatre. Big love and thanks.”
Apart from this, SRK will be next seen in director Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ opposite Taapsee Pannu. The official release date of ‘Dunki’ is still awaited.

Popularity of the movies like “Pathaan” and “Jawan” are testament to the fact, as that a segment of the population could be easily brainwashed and one or two persons can enrich themselves to the tune of $billion dollars, by cunning and clever marketing aided and abetted by morons of Mumbai Media. The above movies are one of the worst movies ever from Bollywood. They’re not in the same caliber as “Gadar2 ” or “Pushpa ” but the formula copied to the detriment of the industry.

Southern actors do not realize that they will be working for this man, eventually. because he will have more money than Anil Ambani or Tata and Birla..
The Southern actors are rich enough and smart enough to join together and make movies like PUSHPA and GADAR 2 which were the most engaging and entertaining movies in the last decade., Instead of working for this person who is taking advantage of them.
Even if they were paid five crores or ten crores for each movie it may be a short term gain but long term loss for them and the industry.
Between Pathan and Jawan, he will be making at least 1000 crores and enriching himself.. smart entrepreneur actors like Allu Arjun would not go for this kind of employment, because they have too much self-respect.
