Stalin Goes Cycling In Chicago, Rahul Wants A Repeat In Chennai

CHICAGO, IL – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, are both on short visits to the U.S.

Gandhi has been making news after the showing of the India Alliance in the last elections, making him the opposition leader. Stalin is in the US to drum up investments for his state, Tamil Nadu.

The Indian media has often reported about the friendship the two leaders share.

This was once again demonstrated in a light-hearted exchange when Stalin posted a video of himself cycling along the shoreline in Chicago. Rahul Gandhi tweeted in response, “Brother, when are we cycling together in Chennai?”

A clearly delighted Stalin replied, “Dear brother @RahulGandhi, whenever you’re free, let’s ride and explore the heart of Chennai together! A box of sweets is still pending from my side. After our cycling, let’s enjoy a delicious South Indian lunch with sweets at my home.”

The friendly banter between the two generated widespread reactions online.
