Table Tennis Ace Ishaan Hingorani Makes His Mark

Ishaan Hingorani, a highly accomplished table tennis player, has consistently demonstrated excellence across various tournaments both in the United States and internationally. His achievements are a testament to his dedication, skill, and determination in the sport

Hingorani’s performance at the US Open Table Tennis Championship in Las Vegas in December 2024 earned him a silver medal in the Hardbat Doubles event. This accomplishment added to his impressive list of accolades from previous tournaments, including the US National Championship 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas, where he claimed silver in the U-2600 Singles category.

Additionally, Hingorani dominated the ICC Joola Fall Open in Milpitas, where he clinched gold in both the U-2500 and U-2650 events in August 2024. He also
won gold in the U-2500 category at the ICC Joola Spring Open in March 2024, further solidifying his standing in the table tennis community.

Team and Junior Boys’ Singles Consolation events at the World Junior Circuit Serbian Open in 2017. Hingorani’s table tennis journey also includes significant contributions at the youth level, where he won a gold medal in Youth Doubles at the Khelo India Youth Games in Pune, Maharashtra, in 2019. His success at national ranking championships, such as the National Ranking Table Tennis Championship Central Zone in 2019, where he emerged as a joint winner in
the Team’s event, further illustrates his versatility and competitive edge. His efforts in the Senior Nationals and Inter state Championships

Hingorani’s exceptional skills were on display during multiple other ICC Joola tournaments, where he won gold in the U-2500 category at the Autumn Open in October 2023, and again at the Autumn Open in October 2022. He repeated this feat at the Spring Open in March 2022, where he won another gold in the U-2500 division. These victories showcase his consistency and dominance in competitive table tennis.

On the national stage, Hingorani secured a gold medal in the Men’s Team event at the National Games India 2022 in Surat. He also earned a bronze medal in the Men’s Doubles event at the same tournament. His performance at the US Open 2021 in Las Vegas included a gold medal in the U-2400 singles and a silver medal in the U-2600 singles. In international competitions, Hingorani marked a significant achievement by winning gold in both the Junior Boys also led to multiple podium finishes, with silver and bronze medals in both Men’s Team and Men’s Doubles events.

In addition to his sporting achievements, Hingorani has pursued academic excellence. He completed his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Commerce from New LJ School of Commerce at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from November 2018 to May 2020. Currently, he is pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Management, specializing in Business Analytics, at MITSDE in Pune, Maharashtra, with an expected completion date of March 2025. His academic pursuits are complemented by his certification in the CFA Level 1 program.
