Tesla Expands India Push With New Bengaluru Experience Centre
NEW DELHI- Elon Musk-backed electric vehicle maker Tesla on May 14 opened its first experience center in Bengaluru’s Whitefield area, marking a major step in the company’s expansion plans in India.
Tesla said customers will now be able to experience the Model Y and the newly introduced Model Y L at the new facility located in Bengaluru’s technology hub.
The company said the Model Y L, a six-seater electric SUV, is priced starting at Rs 61.99 lakh.
Tesla also announced the launch of its after-sales service network in Whitefield to strengthen customer support in Bengaluru amid rising interest in electric mobility in India.
The company added that with Tesla Supercharging, the Model Y L can gain up to 288 km of range in just 15 minutes of charging.
The company has started accepting orders for the Model Y L through its official website.
Apart from Bengaluru, Tesla currently operates experience centers in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, Delhi’s Aerocity and Gurugram. (IANS)
