NEW YORK, NY – TiE New York (TiE NY), marked its 25th anniversary with a series of prestigious events that showcased its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community building.

The celebration commenced with a symbolic opening bell ringing at NASDAQ by TiE Global Board of Trustees member Dharti Arvind Desai and TiE NY’s President, Manjusha Tipre.

An exclusive ‘members only’ cocktail event was hosted at J P Morgan’s private client center in NYC, followed by the grand finale, TiE NY’s Silver Anniversary Event, held on October 14 at the Conrad Downtown, a press release said.

A rapt audience of over 230 people comprising of successful entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and start-up founders, listen to a special virtual address by Desh Deshpande, global leader, and philanthropist.

Themed “Celebrate. Nurture. Imagine.,” the gala attracted more than 230 guests who joined the festivities to acknowledge TiE NY’s contributions over the past 25 years. The event aimed to set the stage for nurturing connections and mentorship opportunities for New York’s entrepreneurs while inspiring attendees to envision the next quarter-century of entrepreneurship.

Keynote speaker Sunil Madhu, a unicorn founder and Charter Member, reflected on his journey and emphasized the importance of giving back to the community. A dynamic panel featuring leaders such as Micheal Hund, Lata Setty, Lauren Foundos, and Sara Hand discussed the future of entrepreneurship.

The evening showcased musical performances and special awards were presented to global leaders and sponsors who traveled from around the world to participate in the celebration. A notable highlight was the citation from New York City’s Mayor Eric Adams’ office, presented by Deputy Commissioner Dilip Chauhan.
