Trump Admirer Hirsh Singh Running For GOP Presidential Nomination

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On July 27, Hirsh Singh, an engineer who has previously run for various offices in New Jersey without success, announced his bid to join the already crowded GOP field for the 2024 presidential election. In the past, Singh has run in Republican primaries for New Jersey governor in 2017 and 2021, a House seat in 2018, and Senate in 2020, but has not succeeded in securing the GOP nomination. In his most recent bid for governor, he positioned himself as a more conservative option closely aligned with Trump but ultimately came in third. In an announcement video, Singh, 38, proclaimed himself a “lifelong Republican” and a staunch “America First” conservative, adding, “I’m the only pure-blood candidate for president because I never gave in to the Covid vaccinations.” In the video, Singh took aim at “corruption” from Big Tech and pharmaceutical companies, accusing them of relentlessly attacking American freedoms. Singh also expressed concern over what he referred to as “Bolsheviks,” likening them to followers of Vladimir Lenin in the Soviet Union, who he believes are imposing their ideology on children. He decried schools as “centers of indoctrination” that cause lasting harm to children. Singh joins a packed field of twelve candidates vying for the Republican nomination, with former President Donald Trump emerging as the front-runner, leading his challengers by a significant margin. While Singh expressed admiration for Trump, whom he considers the “greatest president” in his lifetime, he believes the country needs more than just Trump’s leadership. Singh is from Atlantic City. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has helped his father run the family business, specializing in satellite navigation and aviation security.
