Wanted For Murder, 2 US Deportees Arrested By Punjab Police On Landing

PATIALA – Two youths from Rajpura near here, who were among the second batch of 116 individuals deported by the US that landed at the Amritsar airport on February 15, have been arrested in connection with a murder case, police said.

The accused, Sandeep Singh alias Sunny and Pradeep Singh, were wanted in a murder case registered in 2023.

The case against Sandeep and four others was registered in Rajpura in June 2023. During investigation, the name of Pradeep, another accomplice of Sandeep, was added to the FIR, media reports said.

A team from Rajpura police station on learning that the two were on aboard, sent a tean to the Amritsar airport to arrest the duo.
