Surbhi Chandna Not Too Thrilled About Egg Freezing

MUMBAI-Television actress Surbhi Chandna shared her views on the growing trend of egg freezing among actresses and female celebrities, saying she supports women’s choices but personally prefers a natural approach due to concerns about hormonal imbalance.

Surbhi Chandna said that while she respects those opting for egg freezing to manage biological timelines, she does not currently feel the need to pursue the procedure herself.

“My sister delivered a boy when she was 39, and it was a normal delivery. I also believe in it, and those who think it is important to freeze their eggs, very nice, but like my gynecologist told me, there will be a lot of hormonal imbalances if you go through it,” Surbhi Chandna said.

Citing her sister’s experience, she said it reinforced her belief in natural conception despite demanding lifestyles. “I feel every child comes into this world with their own fate. I don’t know what will happen, but I feel that my sister, who has a flying job, putting her body through a lot of stress, can have a child naturally, I also want to go the natural way,” she added.

The actress acknowledged that concerns around hormonal changes remain a key reason for her hesitation. “I don’t know when we are going to plan, but it will happen when the time is correct. Whenever it happens, it will be a God’s gift,” she said.

On the professional front, Surbhi Chandna has made her debut as a producer with the Balaji Digital show ‘Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam’ under her banner Feel Good Studios. (IANS)
