CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – In an exciting development, the Virginia Cavaliers have secured their second recruit from the 2024 high school class, and all eyes are on Indian Canadian shooting guard, Ishan Sharma. The 6’5″ standout from the Fort Erie International Academy received a visit from Virginia’s head coach, Tony Bennett, and his coaching team. Without hesitation, Sharma committed to joining them.

Sharma’s commitment follows in the footsteps of forward Jacob Cofie, who made his decision to don the Cavaliers’ jersey slightly over a month ago, adding depth and talent to UVA’s 2024 class.
