Shalini Passi Says Her Home Is “Curated As An Art Installation”

MUMBAI — Art collector and socialite Shalini Passi, known for her vibrant personality and extensive art collection, has joined hands with internet sensation Uorfi Javed for the upcoming season of Million Dollar Listing India 2.

For Passi, design goes far beyond aesthetics. “It’s how I live,” she said. “Every element around me must tell a story, evoke emotion, and reflect intention. For me, a home should be as thoughtfully curated as an art installation. That’s why Million Dollar Listing India feels like the perfect destination — a space where vision meets reality.”

Passi, who has followed the show closely, described her participation as both personal and artistic. “I’m not just buying a property; I’m sculpting a living masterpiece,” she added.

Million Dollar Listing India, adapted from the Emmy-nominated American franchise, follows top real estate agents navigating India’s luxury property market. The series showcases high-end properties in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Mumbai, while highlighting the intense negotiations and high-stakes demands that define the business.

This season, agents Hem Batra, Ankush Sayal, and newcomers Inddu Dahiya, Kajal Bhalla, and Ashima Aggarwal will face the challenge of meeting the exacting requirements of both Passi and Javed — two personalities known for bold choices and unconventional demands.

The show streams exclusively on Sony LIV from September 22.

Alongside her art-world influence, Passi has gained popularity as a philanthropist and design advocate. Uorfi Javed, meanwhile, is known for her experimental fashion, sharp social media presence, and growing profile in Indian entertainment. After early roles in television serials, she shot to fame in 2021 with Bigg Boss OTT 1. Since then, she has appeared in Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2, starred in Follow Kar Lo Yaar, and won the reality competition The Traitors India.
