Bachchans And Bhatias Turn Out For ‘Ikkis’ Premiere
MUMBAI- Ahead of its theatrical release, the makers of the Agastya Nanda starrer ‘Ikkis’ held a special screening for the cast and their family members here.
Visuals from the venue captured several high-profile guests, including Akshay Kumar, who arrived with his sister Alka Bhatia to show support for his niece’s debut film. Akshay appeared in high spirits while posing for the media, and the brother-sister duo was joined by Akshay’s niece, Simar Bhatia.
The Bachchans were also present at the screening to support Agastya’s upcoming project. Gracing the event were Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Navya Naveli Nanda. The film marks the big screen debut of Agastya, who is the grandson of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.
The makers recently unveiled a brand-new trailer for the film, which showcases intense battlefield sequences. A highlight of the trailer features Dharmendra’s character reflecting on the legacy of the protagonist, stating he will always be 21.
Agastya Nanda, who portrays the onscreen son of Dharmendra’s character, recently expressed how emotional the experience has been for him, noting the privilege of sharing screen space with a late icon who had worked with multiple generations of his family.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, ‘Ikkis’ is a war biopic based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. The film will release on January 1, 2026. (ANI)
