First Reveal Of Ranbir’s ‘Ramayana’ At Burbank, CA, Has Positive Response

BURBANK, CA – Director Nitesh Tiwari and lead actor Ranbir Kapoor hosted an exclusive preview of the mythological epic ‘Ramayana’ at an IMAX screening here. The event, which featured a first look at the film’s footage followed by a Q&A session, precedes a global digital reveal scheduled for April 2 to coincide with Hanuman Jayanti.

Early reactions from the packed audience suggest a high-scale production aimed at a global audience. One attendee noted in a detailed Instagram review that the vision for the film was “nothing short of breathtaking,” specifically highlighting an emotional sequence involving Kapoor’s character.

During the subsequent Q&A, Ranbir Kapoor, producer Namit Malhotra, and Tiwari discussed the project’s development. When addressed by the audience, Kapoor responded with “Jai Siya Ram.” This was noted and appreciated later by the crowd  present, on social media.

The two-part cinematic event features Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as the antagonist Ravana. ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is slated for a worldwide IMAX release during Diwali 2026, with Part 2 following in Diwali 2027.
