After Public Quarrel With Director, Babil Drops Out Of Film

MUMBAI (ANI)– Days after his emotional video went viral, actor Babil shared an update about his collaboration with Telugu director Sai Rajesh, of an exit from the project. In an Instagram post, Babil wrote, “With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn’t go ahead as everyone had planned.”

He added that he will be taking some time off from work and wished Sai Rajesh and his team the best. “I know there is immense love between us, and we will meet soon in the future and create magic together,” he said.

Sai Rajesh also posted about the project, praising Babil’s talent while acknowledging the situation. He wrote, “Babil is one of the most talented and hardworking actors I have met in my life… I respect his decision of self-care first and wish him all the best. I know we both will create that magic together for sure.” When contacted, Sai Rajesh said, “We both wanted to work together… he wanted to take a break.”

Recently, Babil had posted and deleted emotional videos on Instagram expressing concerns about the Bollywood industry. He later clarified that his comments were misinterpreted.

Following the viral video, Sai Rajesh reportedly criticized Babil’s team in a now-deleted post, expressing frustration over their handling of the situation. Babil responded in the comments, revealing the personal hardships he endured for the role, including physical and emotional pain, writing, “I gave him my laughter while I held back my tears. I slit my f****** wrist for him.”
