Amish Tripathi To Bring Lord Krishna’s Tale To US Audience
MUMBAI (ANI) – Author Amish Tripathi is bringing the tale of Lord Krishna to the global stage with a new project, “Shri Radha Ramanam,” set for worldwide release in February 2026. Written by Prakash Kapadia and Raam Mori, the film will focus on Lord Krishna’s love, with over two years of research ensuring accurate details from various scriptures and books.
“Traditional Indian stories have a deep narrative in which you can get pleasurably lost, but also teach you deeper lessons, so that you can live better,” said Tripathi. “I love the script of this movie, not just for its fantastic scale and research, but also how it helps us explore different aspects of love, through the story of Lord Krishna. This movie will be the definitive love story from India to the world; the love story of love stories… I am proud to be associated with this movie.”
David Unger’s Artist International Group will represent the project in the US, already negotiating with major exhibitors to distribute the film widely across American screens, potentially making it the most extensive foreign release from India in the US. The film’s visual effects will be a collaborative effort among studios in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Mumbai, recreating ancient Vrindavan, Barsana, and Dwarka.
