Anmol Bishnoi, Wanted For High Profile Murders, Deported To India Along With 197 Illegals

WASHINGTON, DC – The United States deported Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of notorious mob boss Lawrence Bishnoi and a key conspirator in the killing of Nationalist Congress Party lawmaker Baba Siddiqui, on November 18.

Bishnoi was traveling on a plane alongside two other criminals wanted by the Punjab Police, along with 197 undocumented Indian immigrants, and is expected to arrive in New Delhi on November 19, NDTV reported.

The Department of Homeland Security informed Zeeshan Siddiqui, the lawmaker’s son, of the deportation in an email, NDTV said

Anmol Bishnoi is wanted in India for multiple violent crimes, including the May 2022 killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He is also linked to the April 2024 gunfire incident outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence.

U.S. authorities had arrested Bishnoi in November of last year, not for his alleged crimes in India but for illegally entering the country. Shortly after, India initiated extradition proceedings.

Bishnoi had filed for asylum in the United States.
