At WWDC, Apple might unveil its mixed reality headset
San Francisco, (IANS) The mixed reality (MR) headset from tech giant Apple is expected to be unveiled at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman tweeted on Thursday that Apple had delayed the planned unveiling of its mixed-reality headset from April to June at the annual WWDC conference, which is the latest setback for Apple’s upcoming significant product.
According to a story from last month, the MR headset from the tech giant will employ motors to automatically adjust the lenses for flawless visuals.
The new headset is anticipated to offer numerous quality-of-life enhancements over the current augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) headset formats.
The MR headset is also rumored to include capabilities for your health, like exercise and meditation.
Instead of using Face ID or Touch ID to identify users, the headset is likely to use iris scanning.
Additionally, it was claimed that the maker of the iPhone was working on software that would make it simpler for consumers to create their own AR applications for the future MR headset.
