Ayushmann Says His Debut Film Was “Life-Changing”

MUMBAI (ANI)– It’s a nostalgic Friday for Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam as their Bollywood debut film Vicky Donor returns to the big screen with a special re-release.

Ayushmann wrote on Instagram, “13 years ago, this film found its way into your hearts and changed my life forever. Vicky Donor is back in cinemas and I’m feeling all the love again.”

Directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by John Abraham, Vicky Donor became a sleeper hit upon its release, earning critical acclaim and box office success despite a modest budget. The film tackled the unconventional theme of sperm donation through a quirky narrative. Ayushmann’s performance earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
