Birthday Special: Academy Posts SRK Clip

LOS ANGELES, CA – Shah Rukh Khan marked his 59th birthday with a special recognition from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which presents the Oscars. The Academy posted a video on Instagram featuring one of Khan’s iconic scenes from the blockbuster film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

In the clip, Khan makes a grand entrance in a helicopter, dressed in black attire as he runs towards his house with unmatched style and charisma. Directed by Karan Johar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, released in 2001, became a cultural phenomenon.

The Academy playfully asked its followers, “Is this SRK’s best entry scene?” This tribute follows the Academy’s earlier recognition of Khan, which included a January post featuring the Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna song sequence from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
