Amul Shares Doodle Honoring Actor Chuck Norris
India-West News Desk
MUMBAI – The iconic Indian dairy brand Amul has released a poignant topical doodle to honor the life and legacy of Hollywood action legend Chuck Norris, who passed away at the age of 86.
The illustration, shared on the brand’s social media handles, features a martial arts-inspired tribute to the star, showcasing a visual nod to his legendary role in ‘The Way of the Dragon’ alongside Bruce Lee, as well as his long-running television success in ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’
The family of the martial arts master confirmed his passing on March 19, stating he was surrounded by loved ones and at peace. While the world knew him as a symbol of strength and a cinematic powerhouse, his family remembered him as a devoted husband, father, and the heart of their home.
The news prompted a wave of tributes from Hollywood royalty. Arnold Schwarzenegger hailed Norris as a badass in both real life and film, while Sylvester Stallone described his ‘Expendables 2’ co-star as All-American in every way.
Norris was a highly decorated martial artist, holding black belts in disciplines such as Karate, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Judo.

Jay please don’t make a blanket statement like this
March 23, 2026Indians are not what you have alleged
Putting a billion plus human beings under the same banner is not just on your part
I am a very proud Indian
I was a fan of chuck norris
He was a proud patriotic conservative American
And a devoted Christian
A little bit too conservative for me frankly
He did espouse some negative views about homosexuality
And maybe voted republican most of the time
But pleeeeeeeeease don’t call the guy racist
Come on
I personally am a democrat who has never voted
Republican and I have no issues with another human being, gay
In defense of many Republican friends which again
I am not, many republicans are good folks who are not racist but harbor conservative views
God bless America
God bless India
RIP Chuck Norris
