Blockbuster ‘Saiyaara’ To Stream On Netflix

NEW DELHI-The romantic drama ‘Saiyaara’, a major box office success, is reportedly set for its digital premiere on Netflix on September 12. The streaming date was shared by YRF’s casting director, Shanoo Sharma, on her Instagram story, though an official announcement from the filmmakers is still awaited.

Directed by Mohit Suri, the film introduced newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who have received widespread praise for their performances. Since its theatrical release on July 18, ‘Saiyaara’ has become one of the year’s biggest hits, grossing over Rs 550 crore worldwide and remaining a top choice for moviegoers despite new releases.

The film’s emotional storyline, written by Rohan Shankar and Sankalp Sadanah, explores themes of love, ambition, and identity through the journey of a passionate musician, Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), and an ambitious journalist, Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda). The cast also includes a strong supporting ensemble featuring Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Sid Makkar, Shaad Randhawa, and Varun Badola.

Ahead of his debut, lead actor Ahaan Panday underwent three years of rigorous training, including workshops and improvisation exercises, as confirmed by Shanoo Sharma. He also worked as an Assistant Director on the film ‘The Railway Men’, which provided him with valuable experience in filmmaking.
