Bobby Deol Reflects On His Most Cherished Co-Stars
MUMBAI — Celebrating three decades in Bollywood, actor Bobby Deol recently opened up about the co-stars he holds closest to his heart.
When it comes to female actors, Bobby’s fondness is clear. He shared that Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji, and Twinkle Khanna stand out as special collaborators. Bobby has shared memorable screen space with Preity Zinta in films such as ‘Soldier’, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’, and ‘Heroes’. Speaking about their camaraderie, he said he has remained particularly close to Preity over the years. His work with Rani Mukerji in ‘Bichhoo’ and ‘Badal’ also left a lasting impression, while his debut opposite Twinkle Khanna in ‘Barsaat’ earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Bobby also praised his male co-stars for their talent and character. He singled out Ranbir Kapoor for being both grounded and professional despite his superstar status. Reflecting on his long-standing friendships, he said, ‘Salman Khan is one man with the biggest heart… no one can be like him. I have also been very close to Akshay Khanna — he’s immensely talented and one of my favorite actors to work with.’ He also said, that like everyone else, he too is fond of SRK, “Shah Rukh Khan he is so respectful he gives you so much of love and affection and makes you feel so special.”
The actor acknowledged that while he has worked with many stars, his closest relationships remain few but meaningful. Bobby’s reflections highlight not just professional respect, but enduring friendships formed over decades in the industry. (IANS)
