Canadian MP Chandra Arya Says He Is Running To Be PM
OTTAWA, (ANI) – Chandra Arya, Member of Parliament for Nepean, announced his bid to become Canada’s next Prime Minister, vowing to lead a smaller, more efficient government focused on rebuilding the nation and securing prosperity for future generations.
“I am running to be the next Prime Minister of Canada to lead a small, efficient government to rebuild our nation and secure prosperity for our children and grandchildren,” Arya stated in a video announcement.
Arya highlighted the structural challenges facing Canada, including economic stagnation and affordability issues, particularly for younger generations. He emphasized the need for bold, pragmatic decisions to revitalize the economy and foster stability. “The working middle class is struggling, and many working families are retiring into poverty. We must act now to rebuild our economy and create a stable society,” he said.
The MP also envisioned a Canada with greater opportunities for younger generations and entrepreneurs driving economic growth. “Imagine a Canada where our children have economic freedom and financial security, where family values thrive, and a renewed, vibrant Canadian identity takes root,” Arya said.
Arya pledged to address these challenges with “pragmatism and prudence,” promising transformative leadership that restores hope and prosperity. He invited Canadians to join him on his journey: “Let’s rebuild, revitalize, and secure the future for all Canadians and generations to come.”
Arya’s announcement follows Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to step down as Liberal Party leader and Prime Minister, with Parliament set to remain prorogued until March 24.
