NEW YORK, NY- Child Rights and You America (CRY America), wrapped up its annual CRY Walk 2025 series across the US.
The series provides a vital opportunity for community members to support children who are denied basic rights and opportunities to live, learn, grow, and play.
The events successfully mobilized community volunteers, donors, sponsors, and walking enthusiasts in major US cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, New Jersey, Boston, Houston, and San Diego. Each event typically featured a 5K walkalong scenic trails or through community parks, combined with fun activities for students, dance warm-up sessions, and refreshments.
Shefali Sunderlal, President of CRY America, extended thanks to all participants, stating, “We thank everyone who came together to support our CRY Walk events to ensure a better childhood for underprivileged children. Every step is an investment into a child’s future. When we ensure that the rights of children are protected, we create a better world for everyone.”

The organization gave special recognition to the high school students who organized the events across multiple cities.
The CRY Walks operate as a bridge between lost dreams and new beginnings for underprivileged children, leveraging American community engagement for a global cause, the organization said in a statement.
Palak Gosalia, a volunteer leader for CRY San Diego, noted the local impact of the events, believing that, “Volunteering with CRY events like the CRY Walk spark meaningful conversations, foster empathy, and mobilize support for a great cause. They make a direct impact in our immediate community and enable long-term change for children in underserved areas.”
