Dedicate Yourself To America: Rajnath Singh To Diaspora

WASHINGTON, DC (ANI) – India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh who is here on a four-day visit to the country entered into a bilateral, non-binding Security of Supply Arrangement with the US.

Through this SOSA, the United States and India agree to provide reciprocal priority support for goods and services that promote national defense. The arrangement will enable both countries to acquire the industrial resources they need from one another to resolve unanticipated supply chain disruptions to meet national security needs.

He also interacted with the Indian American community on August 22. In his speech he pointed out that before 2014, India was among the ‘Fragile Five’ nations, as coined by investment firm Morgan Stanley, and today it finds itself among the ‘Fabulous Five’ economies of the world.

He urged Indian Americans to work with honesty and dedication, in line with the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.’

“I would like to tell Indian members working here to work with full honesty. You should be dedicated to India, but since you are working here, your dedication to America should also not be questioned. Only then will the perceptions of Indians be good,” he said.
