Dharmendra Stable; Hema, Esha, Condemn False Death Reports
MUMBAI-Hema Malini has called out a few media outlets for spreading false news of Dharmendra’s demise.
Calling the behavior “disrespectful and irresponsible,” she added, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy (sic).”
The reports of Dharmendra’s passing away have been doing the rounds since November 10 evening, causing several prominent figures, including actress Bhagyashree, lyricist Javed Akhtar, and Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, to post premature condolences.
As uncertainty looms over the health of the veteran star, his family has been sharing constant updates on Dharmendra’s well-being.
Earlier, rubbishing the various reports of the veteran actor’s passing away, actress Esha Deol confirmed that her father is stable and recovering in the hospital.
Esha wrote on her official Instagram handle, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery.”
Sunny Deol’s team issued a clarification stating that the actor continues to be stable.
Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol paid a visit to the Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai, where Dharmendra has been admitted after reportedly suffering breathing difficulties. (IANS)
