LOS ANGELES, CA – Digital Domain, the award-winning visual effects studio behind some of Hollywood’s most acclaimed films, has appointed Sudhir Reddy as President of its Global VFX Business, effective immediately.

He succeeds Lala Gavgavian, who spent 18 years with the company, including the last four as President and COO.

A 27-year veteran of the VFX industry, Reddy has spent the past 15 years helping Digital Domain expand its international footprint. His contributions include leading the launch of the Hyderabad studio and managing the Vancouver and Montreal locations.

Reddy has overseen global productions across feature films, episodic content, and emerging media, earning a reputation for delivering ambitious projects worldwide. Prior to rejoining Digital Domain, he held creative roles at prominent studios in India and Flux Animation Studios in New Zealand before moving into senior production and management at Reliance MediaWorks in India and Los Angeles, overseeing large-scale VFX pipelines and cross-border teams.

A creative force in cutting-edge technologies, Digital Domain has contributed exceptional artistry to Academy Award-winning films such as ‘Titanic’, ‘What Dreams May Come’, and ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’.
