LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – Over 500 dancers from around the world came together at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom for the third annual Diwali Dance Fest, produced by Jashn Productions and led by Jeanie Beri. For the first time, the festival concluded with a vibrant Diwali parade set against the iconic Cinderella Castle.

The three-day celebration, held from October 9, opened with a Diwali Mela where families enjoyed Indian cuisine, henna art, and a lively dance party, along with photo opportunities with Mickey and Minnie. The festival continued at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park with the Dance Fest Showcase, featuring 25 teams from the United States, South Africa, and New Zealand performing a mix of Classical Indian, regional Folk, and Bollywood dance styles.

Comedian and screenwriter Zarna Garg hosted the showcase, delivering a three-part comedy lineup that entertained audiences between performances.

Reflecting on the parade, Jeanie Beri said, ‘You could see the pride in each dancer’s eyes as they performed with the castle in view. We are proud to represent our culture and to provide the next generation of dancers opportunities in mainstream venues while fostering community and inclusivity.’

The festival’s grand finale, a parade full of color, rhythm, and light, showcased both Bollywood and traditional music. Proceeds from the event were donated to the Desai Foundation, supporting programs in health, livelihood, and menstrual equity for women and children in rural India.
