
Dr. Suresh Reddy Wins Second Term As Oak Brook Trustee

OAK BROOK, IL – Dr. Suresh Reddy was re-elected as a Trustee for Oak Brook Township, Illinois, alongside Jim Nagle and Dr. Melissa Martin, in the April 1 elections. Four candidates vied for three seats in this election for the village of nearly 10,000 residents, located 15 miles west of downtown Chicago.
A physician by profession, Reddy expressed gratitude and renewed commitment to the community. “Oak Brook stands at a pivotal moment in its growth and development,” he said. “Through open dialogue, mutual respect, and shared values, we can continue to shape a village we’re proud to call home.”
Highlighting unity, Reddy voiced support for Oak Brook Mayor Larry Herman, noting their past differences: “We may have once stood on opposite sides, but today, we’re rowing in the same direction—for Oak Brook.”
Reddy is a past president of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin . He grew up in suburban Hyderabad and completed his medical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. He served more than a decade on the Harvard faculty, including as Chief of Interventional Neuroradiology.
His wife, Leela, holds a master’s in health management and policy. Their son, Rohun, is a JD/MBA graduate from Northwestern and works as a corporate lawyer.
