FBI DIrector Kash Patel Hails Arrest Of Harpreet Singh
SACRAMENTO, CA (ANI)– FBI Director Kash Patel declared on April 21 that “justice will be done” following the arrest of Harpreet Singh, a terrorist involved in attacks in Punjab.
Patel commended the FBI Sacramento team for their collaboration with Indian authorities in the investigation. “CAPTURED: HARPREET SINGH, part of an alleged foreign terrorist gang illegally in the United States, who we believe was involved in planning multiple attacks on police stations both in India and the United States,” Patel posted on X. He added, “The FBI will continue finding those who perpetrate violence—no matter where they are.”
Singh, linked to two international terrorist groups, entered the U.S. illegally and used burner phones to avoid capture. He was arrested on April 18 by the FBI and Enforcement and Removal Operations in Sacramento.
The Punjab Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, praised the arrest of Singh, also known as Happy Passia, as a “major milestone” in the fight against ISI-backed terror networks. Yadav, in a post on X, emphasized that Singh, a key operative of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), was responsible for orchestrating targeted killings, grenade attacks on police stations, and extortion.
