FedEx Taps Vishal Talwar For Top Tech Role

MEMPHIS, TN — FedEx Corp. has appointed Vishal Talwar as its new Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer, and President of FedEx Dataworks. The appointment is effective August 15.

“As a seasoned leader in the technology sector, Vishal has a proven track record in accelerating business growth through forward-thinking strategies and transformative digital solutions,” said FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam. “His expertise will be instrumental as we continue to advance our long-term strategy and harness the full potential of FedEx intelligence.”

Talwar expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I am honored to join FedEx during such a transformative period as the company leverages the power of technology, data, and AI to make supply chains smarter for everyone.” He added that his prior advisory work with the company has given him “tremendous confidence in the future of FedEx.”

Talwar brings over 27 years of experience in using technology to improve business growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience, the company said. He was previously the senior managing director and chief growth officer of Accenture Technology and has worked with FedEx’s digital transformation efforts for nearly two years in an advisory capacity. He also has experience with IBM and Dell Services.

In his new role, Talwar will lead FedEx’s digital transformation, focusing on innovative solutions powered by data and artificial intelligence, advanced technology, and cybersecurity. He will also oversee the Data and Technology and Dataworks organizations.
