MUMBAI – In a recent podcast appearance, television’s power couple, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy, opened up about a pivotal moment in their relationship when Rode considered breaking up with Awasthy.

The revelation came during their conversation on the show Couple of Things with RJ Anmol and Amrita Rao. Rode candidly shared that communication issues had led him to believe that a breakup might be the best course of action. “At one point, I thought we should break up,” he admitted, citing Awasthy’s difficulty in expressing her feelings openly.

Although Rode was ready for commitment just a month into dating, Awasthy’s father advised the couple to take their time, encouraging them to date for at least two years to better understand each other and see if their values and goals aligned.
