IIFA 2025 Invitation Box Highlights Rajasthan’s Artistic Heritage
JAIPUR (ANI)- The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2025 has unveiled a stunning invitation box that blends Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage with Bollywood glamour.
Designed by Chandra Prakash Goyal and Ashish Goyal of Hamporio by Friends, the invitation box is a 7-kilogram masterpiece, celebrating Rajasthani craftsmanship. It features Barmeri cloth, one of Rajasthan’s iconic textiles, along with Jaipur’s traditional blue pottery.
“The IIFA invitation is not just an invite; it’s a celebration of Rajasthan’s rich heritage,” said Ashish Goyal . He added, “We aimed to create something unique, blending timeless traditions with a contemporary flair that embodies the spirit of Bollywood.”
Shaped like a trunk, the box symbolizes strength and resilience. It is adorned with intricate hand-painted artwork, including elephants and peacocks, motifs deeply rooted in Rajasthani culture. The use of gold paint and Makrana marble further enhances its grandeur, crafted entirely by hand without machines.
Goyal described the invitation as a keepsake rather than just a design, saying, “IIFA tasked us with bringing the heart of Rajasthan to the world stage, and we’ve done that with love and dedication.” The design process took over three weeks, with 15-20 days for conceptualization and 8-10 days for execution. A lighter 3-4 kg version has also been created, retaining the same artistic essence.
This year, Kartik Aaryan will host the IIFA Awards, while Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to perform a special tribute to her grandfather, legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor.
A highlight of IIFA 2025 will be a special screening of Ramesh Sippy’s iconic film ‘Sholay’ at Jaipur’s historic Raj Mandir Cinema, marking its 50th anniversary.
