Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has matched the legendary Virender Sehwag’s record for the most sixes by an Indian in Test cricket. Both now have 90 sixes to their name in the longest format. Pant achieved this feat in 47 matches.

Virender Sehwag 

Legendary Indian batter Virender Sehwag has hit the joint-most sixes by an Indian in Test cricket. He also has 90 sixes to his name in the longest format.

Rohit Sharma 

Former Indian Test skipper Rohit Sharma has hit the third-most sixes by an Indian in Test cricket. The ‘Hitman’ has smashed 88 sixes in 67 matches in the longest format.

MS Dhoni Former

Indian Test skipper MS Dhoni has hit the fourth-most sixes by an Indian in Test cricket. ‘Captain Cool’ has smashed 80 sixes in 90 matches in the longest format.

Ravindra Jadeja 

World No. 1 all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has hit the fifth-most sixes by an Indian in Test cricket. He has smashed 74 sixes in 84 matches in the longest format. (ANI)
