Inspiring Maha Kumbh Songs Released

NEW DELHI (ANI) – On January 7, Doordarshan launched the theme song titled Maha Kumbh Hai for Maha Kumbh 2025 in Delhi. Sung by Kailash Kher, the song captures the essence of devotion, celebration, and the vibrant cultural spirit of the iconic Mahakumbh. The heartfelt lyrics, written by renowned poet Aalok Shrivastav, and soul-stirring music composed by Kshitij Tarey, beautifully convey the confluence of faith, tradition, and festivity that defines the Mahakumbh.

The official music video of Maha Kumbh Hai is now available on Doordarshan and its digital platforms for audiences to experience.

In addition, Akashvani released a dedicated song for the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, highlighting the spiritual, cultural, and religious significance of the event. The song pays tribute to the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh, held at the sacred Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. With soulful vocals by Ratan Prasanna, music by Santosh Nahar and Ratan Prasanna, and lyrics penned by Abhinay Shrivastava, the song beautifully weaves the spiritual connection with the divine.
