AUSTIN, TX – In response to the recent flash floods that have ravaged Central Texas—destroying homes, displacing families, and claiming lives—the Austin Chapter of ITServe Alliance has stepped up with a donation of $21,000 toward relief efforts.

The funds, raised in just one week, were formally presented to Byron Wilkinson, President and General Manager at KVUE Austin, who accepted the check on behalf of the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund, managed by the Communities Foundation of Texas.

“This tragedy has hit close to home,” said Vineeth R. Amaram, President of ITServe Austin. “In just seven days, our members came together to raise over $21,000—a powerful example of compassion, unity, and swift action.”

Amaram emphasized that the campaign not only addressed urgent needs but also demonstrated the organization’s core values: compassion, leadership, and service.

ITServe National President Anju Vallabhaneni echoed the sentiment, praising the effort as a “noble initiative” and a reflection of ITServe’s commitment to supporting communities in times of crisis.

With over 2,400 members and 24 chapters across the country, ITServe Alliance has a long-standing mission of empowering local communities and creating employment opportunities in the U.S. The organization’s rapid response to the Texas floods is part of its broader Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to give back during emergencies.
