Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Justice’ Post Comes After Relief To Karisma’s Children
MUMBAI-Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a cryptic post on social media, expressing her belief in the power of goodness and justice. The actress took to the Stories section of her official Instagram handle and wrote, “And there is light..Justice and truth will always prevail…Chardikala.”
While Kareena did not specify what her post referred to, it comes in the backdrop of a recent court development involving her extended family.
On April 30, the Delhi High Court granted interim relief to actress Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Kapur, in their legal dispute with Priya Kapur over the estate of their late father, businessman Sunjay Kapur.
The Delhi High Court allowed the interim injunction plea filed by Samaira and Kiaan, restraining Priya Kapur from accessing or dealing with Sunjay Kapur’s assets.
A single-judge Bench of Justice Jyoti Singh said that Sunjay Kapur’s estate must be preserved during the pendency of the suit, citing suspicious circumstances surrounding the purported will raised by the plaintiffs.
The court further said that the onus to dispel these suspicions lies on Priya Kapur and clarified that the will’s genuineness and validity will be determined during trial.
Samaira and Kiaan Kapur have challenged a 2025 will, which allegedly bequeaths the entirety of Sunjay Kapur’s personal estate to Priya Kapur.
They have alleged that the will was forged and part of a criminal conspiracy aimed at excluding them and their grandmother.
During earlier hearings, counsel for the children also claimed that the purported will was tampered with when Sunjay Kapur was on holiday with his son.
Sunjay Kapur, businessman and former husband of actress Karisma Kapoor, passed away in June 2025 at the age of 53. According to reports, he suffered a heart attack while playing polo in the United Kingdom. (IANS)
