Kash Patel, Vikram Misri Discuss Counter-Terror Cooperation
WASHINGTON, DC -India and the United States expanded their strategic engagement with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri holding meetings with senior US officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel, covering counter-terrorism, defense and regional security.
In a key security-focused engagement, Misri met Patel, where both sides held a “useful exchange of views on the robust India-US cooperation in countering terrorism, organized crime, and narcotics,” the Indian Embassy said.
Misri also held talks with Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, with both sides discussing bilateral priorities and regional and global developments of mutual concern.
Economic and technology cooperation also featured in the discussions, particularly in areas such as critical minerals and emerging technologies. (IANS)
