Kiara Advani Makes Graceful Met Gala Debut, Celebrates Motherhood In Style

NEW YORK, NY – Actress Kiara Advani made a graceful debut at the 2025 Met Gala, walking the iconic steps of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art with poise and purpose.

Expecting her first child, Kiara became the first Bollywood actress to debut her baby bump on the Met Gala carpet—earning admiration across social media for both her elegance and confidence.

She arrived in a custom couture creation by designer Gaurav Gupta: a striking black gown featuring a sculpted golden breastplate and a flowing double-panel cape. The ensemble, titled Bravehearts, paid tribute to the late André Leon Talley, the legendary fashion editor and a pioneering Black icon. The dramatic cape was a direct nod to Talley’s signature style, honoring his legacy while also symbolizing resilience and transformation. The look beautifully celebrated both motherhood and self-expression.

Kiara was accompanied by her husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra, who proudly supported her at the fashion event. In a now-viral video, he can be seen escorting her up the steps—holding her hand, smiling at fans, and graciously posing for photos. Social media clearly approved as  it lit up seeing them together.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Alia Bhatt also expressed their pride in Kiara’s appearance, with Alia giving her a special shoutout on social media.

This year’s Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” offered a powerful platform to explore identity, legacy, and cultural influence through fashion.
