LOS ANGELES, CA – Emmy-nominated comedian, actor, and writer Kiran Deol released her debut stand-up comedy special, JoySuck, on Comedy Dynamics on April 8.
Named one of Entertainment Weekly’s “11 Asian American Comics Who Killed It This Year,” Deol is no stranger to the limelight, having captivated audiences with her performances across television and film.
Filmed at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles, JoySuck is a response to the whirlwind of negativity that has defined recent years. From the pandemic to soaring inflation and divisive politics, Deol offers an alternative perspective — one where joy can still be found, even in the darkest of times. Literally taking awful situations, turning it on its head and generating a much needed laugh.
