MAGA Brandon Gill Slams Immigration While Married To Dinesh D’Souza’s Daughter
India-West News Desk
HOUSTON, TX – Texas Republican Congressman Brandon Gill is facing accusations of hypocrisy after posting a controversial message on social media blaming mass immigration for the perceived decline of American society.
Gill, who represents Texas’s 26th Congressional District and is aligned with the far-right faction of the GOP, shared a post juxtaposing two images of California—one from the 1960s showing a tranquil beach scene with blonde sunbathers, and another depicting a chaotic moment during the L.A. riots with a man waving a Mexican flag. He captioned the post: California in 1960 vs California today. Mass migration has made America unrecognizable.
The post quickly went viral. Social media users swiftly pointed out the irony that Gill is married to Danielle D’Souza Gill, the daughter of conservative commentator and Indian immigrant Dinesh D’Souza. Critics flooded the comments with family photos and pointed jabs.

“Remind me, who are you married to!?” one user asked.
“Your wife is first-generation American and your father-in-law is an immigrant from India (and a convicted felon),” another wrote.
A third user bluntly added: “Your wife is literally Indian and the daughter of a convicted criminal fraudster.”
There was another kind of vitriol. When one posted an image of the family asking, “This you?” The comment from another user was, “Married to a pagan demon worshipper.”
Danielle born in 1995, is an author and conservative activist who has appeared on Fox News and Newsmax and campaigned with the Women for Trump coalition. A Dartmouth graduate, she’s known for her books “YGod” and “The Choice: The Abortion Divide in America.”
She married Brandon Gill in 2017. The couple lives in Flower Mound, Texas, and shares a daughter named Marigold.
